We have had a day...the saturday that never ends.
A few days ago our water dispenser on our fridge stopped working
and today Dave decided to clean out the fridge only to find a puddle
of water under the freezer, opened it up and all the food had thawed. The bread dough we had was totally risen and busting out of the pack and the stuff in the bottom of the fridge was frozen. we called to see how much it would be to have someone come out and look at it and explained what was going on and were told that it would be $200.00 charge minimum, if not more...pretty frustrating to put in that much money on an older fridge.
we decided to bite the bullet and purchase a new fridge. we went to several stores before we realized that no one had a fridge that we could purchase, put in our truck and drive home today. the fridge we wanted(basically the same make and model that we have had) is special order only and would take four weeks to be delivered...finally we settled on one that was similar but that could be delivered this thursday. we went to target and walmart after to find a mini-fridge to get us through the next week so our food wouldn't go bad, but they were all so expensive. Finally we found a good-sized fridge on ksl.com for $30 and we went and picked it up. We got home at ten and my poor feet and knees have just had it for the day, not exactly the laid back Saturday that we were planning on...at least it is a long weekend.

Wii love it!

so my husband is a sweetheart and purchased the Wii gaming system as a surprise for me while i was in virginia with my sisters. we had talked about getting one for some time since a friend lent us her wii and we had so much fun playing together. we thought it would be fun to have one, especially in the later months of my pregnancy when it is so hot and miserable for me to be outside and i don't feel like doing much anyway after work and for when baby comes and we are not able to go out on as many dates. they are hard to find, so i just thought that sometime in the future when we saw one we would pick it up. while i was away, a friend from work saw a bunch at sams club and remembered dave had mentioned to him that he wanted to get one so he picked it up for us.
we had a game night last night and it was so much fun. we got a pizza and candy and played until the wii hours(haha, i know i am a dork)of the night, which for me is about eight in the evening. i got so into it, i was feeling like a teenager. it was fun to connect it to the internet and play people from all over the world. i now want all my friends and family to get one so that we can race each other on mario kart.

new pictures of audrey jane
we went back to fetal fotos today after work and got some amazing shots of little audrey. it was so much fun to see her move. she did not stop moving once the whole twenty minutes we were there. the ultrasound tech said our baby was the cutest baby she has ever seen and got as excited as we did with each movement. it was the most amazing experience. here are a few of my favorites...love the one with her tongue sticking out!

why is it
...that food always tastes better when it is free?
mcdonalds has free southern style chicken sandwiches today with the purchase of a medium or large drink. i even added a small fry. not a bad lunch for $2.60...especially since i have been craving fried chicken for a while now but have been trying to eat healthy. oh well, can't win 'em all.
when you need to use your lunch break to pick some things up at walmart and they have a mcdonalds with no line and free food located conveniently inside the store, it seems like fate has stepped in...
the promotion is until seven pm so go out and score yourself a free chicken sandwich!

what a sweetheart!

when i got home this morning i saw these beautiful roses that dave had purchased for me for mother's day. what a sweetheart. they are beautiful and i love them babe! for mother's day he booked us a session at fetal fotos for a 4d session and it was so fun to get to see her. she was being a little stinker and wouldn't move her hands and feet away from her face so we got a voucher to go back and see her in a week and hopefully we will get some good shots then.
thanks for the great mothers day dave.
